Academic Year Course (LGY / LCY)
Long term study programmes of 6 to 9 months for students preparing for careers or higher education using English as the medium of instruction. The courses develop students' English to an advanced level, prepare them for the most important international examinations in English and introduce them to higher education possibilities in the UK.

The courses are suitable for high school students, university graduates and people already in work. The age range is normally 17 to 25 years and students are grouped according to their level of English and future objectives.
Intensive (LGY) 28 lessons (21 hours) per week OR
Compact (LCY) 20 lessons (15 hours) per week
Available all year
Entry possible every month
Minimum age 16
Suitable for all levels
Use of video, language laboratory and computers
TOEFL and IELTS preparation
Social and sports programme
Optional weekend excursions
Further Education counselling
Assistance with university applications
Teacher-supervised self-access facilities are available outside normal lesson times.
